ROSCOE, Ill. - The Thunder lost to the Chicago Bandits 3-0 in the exhibition season finale on Sunday afternoon in front of a crowd of 1,127 fans to end the exhibition season 2-1.

The Bandits wasted little time to get on the board as they scored two runs in the top of the first inning on a 2-run home run by Rachel Folden. They wouldn't score again until the 5th inning of the game.

Four Chicago pitchers, including Jennie Finch, combined on the shutout. The Thunder did have plenty of chances in the game. The team left 11 runners on bases in the game, including seven in scoring position.

Although the Thunder lost there was plenty of excitement in the team's first game in the brand new Thunder Park at Roscoe. Arguably the most exciting was the Thunder wore the throwback uniforms of the Rockford Peaches for the duration of the game.
