Rockford Thunder News Release
ROCKFORD - The Rockford Thunder of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) and General Manager Aaron M. Moore announced today that they have postponed the start of the 2008 Summer Clinic Series due to flooded conditions at SportsCore One.
The first of the five dates was scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 10, but the weekend weather has forced the team to push back the start date until June 24.
Due to the postponement, the fifth session of the clinic series will now be held on Tuesday, August 12 at SportsCore One at 10 a.m.
Participants can still register for the clinic by contacting the Thunder or by downloading the registration form from the website at www.thunderprofastpitch.com/community. The cost of the five-session clinic is $130 and that includes all 12.5 hours of instruction, two tickets to a Thunder game and a clinic t-shirt.
