Thunder Head Coach Amos Magee
"This is an important game for us because we've got some momentum going and we're playing well at home. We want to build on the success we had versus Miami."
"We've dropped all six points from two games with Portland and I don't feel they're a better team than us. We have to come out and play well."
Season Series
The Timbers have already defeated the Thunder twice this season, with a 2-1 victory on May 6 in Portland and a 1-0 victory on May 27 in Minnesota. After Thursday's match, the two teams will face off again on August 4 in Portland.
