BOARDMAN, OH. - The Mahoning Valley Thunder announced their field unveiling and select your seat night event. The first official event on Cortland Banks Field at the Chevrolet Centre will be Tuesday, December 5th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony set for 4:30 pm.
"The event will be the Valley's first chance to see the Arena Football setup at the Chevrolet Centre and to experience the excitement of the game," said Adam Tokash Thunder General Manager. The Thunder's new mascot will also be unveiled and people can meet Head Coach Mike Hold and some of the players that have been invited to training camp. There will be a number of kids' activities, including Santa Claus and the Thunder Dance Team will perform periodically throughout the night.
The Mahoning Valley Thunder Arena Football Team's Inaugural Season kicks off March 31, 2007. Don't miss the eight, action-packed home games as the Thunder enter the arenafootball2 League and clash with tough opponents to bring the ArenaCup Championship to the Valley.
