
Thunder Clinic Series to Begin Tomorrow

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford Thunder of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) and General Manager Aaron M. Moore announced today that its summer clinic series is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 5 at 10 a.m. at Sportscore One in Rockford.
The series will run on four different Tuesday's during the summer, two in June and two in July, with each session lasting 2 ½ hours. After tomorrow the other scheduled dates for the clinics are June 26, July 10 and July 24.
The cost of the clinic series is $125 per person, with each registered participant receiving a special clinic t-shirt, two tickets to a Thunder game in July and a total of ten hours of instruction. The $125 includes all four sessions. Registrations will be taken on-site, as well as over the phone. For those not able to make the first session, registrations will still be accepted with the cost being $100 for the final three sessions.
Rockford will offer three different age groups for the clinics to ensure the most consistency and structure during the camps. Girl's ages 7-10 will be one group, ages 11-14 will be another group, while ages 15-18 will form the third group. Each group will have a size limit of 44 participants.
Scheduled to serve as clinic instructors is the entire 2007 Rockford Thunder team, including coaches. Three or four Thunder players will work with the same group each week to ensure consistency with the campers. Instructors will be assigned to the different groups at a later date.
