Thunder Announce Dates For Summer Clinic Series

ROCKFORD - The Rockford Thunder of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) and General Manager Aaron M. Moore announced plans today for the team's summer clinic series that will begin on Tuesday, June 10 at Sportscore One.
The series will run on five Tuesday's during the summer, the first scheduled for June 10, with each session lasting 2 ½ hours. Other scheduled dates for the clinics are June 24, July 1, July 22 and August 5. The final session will consist of mini-scrimmage contests.
The cost of the clinic is $130 per person, with each registered participant receiving a special clinic t-shirt, two tickets to a Thunder game in August and more than 12 hours of instruction.
There will be three different age groups for the clinics to ensure the most consistency and structure during the camps. Girl's ages 7-10 will form group, ages 11-14 will be another, and ages 15-18 will form the third group. Each group will have a size limit of 50 participants.
Scheduled to serve, as clinic instructors are members from the 2008 Rockford Thunder team, including coaches. Three or four Thunder players will work with the same group each week to ensure consistency with the campers. Instructors will be assigned to the different groups at a later date.
