Thunder Announce 2008 Fundraiser Opportunities

ROCKFORD - After a successful fundraiser program in 2007, the Thunder announced today they would continue the ticket voucher fundraiser again for the 2008 season.
Youth teams, church youth groups, Girl Scout Troops and other groups have the opportunity to purchase vouchers at a discounted rate from the Thunder and resell them for additional profit.
Unlike last season where just general admission vouchers were available, the Thunder are opening up bleacher seats this year for the fundraiser. Fans can purchase the general admission vouchers for $3 each and bleacher vouchers for $5 each. The retail values of the tickets are $5 and $8, respectively.
"We were very happy with the way the program went in 2007," stated Thunder GM Aaron M. Moore. "We're hoping for a great response in 2008 with the fundraiser program. This is a great way for people to make some extra money for their program and it's a way for us to get fans to the game that may not attend otherwise."
Appointments are encouraged to ensure that the correct number of vouchers is created upon arrival. Arrange appointments by contacting the team office and speaking with Sheryl or Aaron.
