
Three More Added to Storm\'s Impressive Lineup

Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL) is pleased to announce the addition of veteran NIFL defensive back Marvin Hooker, linebacker Shawn Bauer, and defensive end Darin Martyna.
Hooker, 6'2, 204 lb, begins his first season with the Storm at the defensive back position. Prior to joining the Storm, Marvin played last year for the former LaCrosse Night Train of the NIFL and was named their defensive MVP. Hooker played for the Danish American Football Federation in 2001 where again he was named MVP.
Bauer, 6'0, 240 lb, returns to the Storm in 2004 after playing the last two seasons with Sioux City Bandits of the NIFL. Many may remember him for his aggressive style of play as a line backer for the Storm in 2001. Shawn was a two-time All-Conference NSIC and All-American at Northern State University.
Martyna, 6'3, 265 lb, returns to the defensive end position for his second season with the Storm. The former University of Sioux Falls player, was a two-time All-American player in college and is the all-time sack leader at USF. He was a co-captain for the Cougars and led the team in tackles with 15 sacks in 2002.
"These three individuals will give us the depth we are looking for on our defense, not to mention each will compete heavily for a starting position this season," says general manager Colin Steen.
