Three Magicians to Top Prospects

The Minnesota Magicians are excited to announce that 3 players will represent the team at this year's North American Hockey League (NAHL) Top Prospects tournament in Plymouth, Michigan on February 15th and 16th. Forwards Casey Jerry and Pierce Crawford will join defenseman Kyle Wagner at the event. All will participate as members of the Central Division team.

Casey Jerry currently leads the Magicians in goals (13), assists (17) and points (30) through 35 games played this season. The native of River Falls, Wisconsin is a junior hockey veteran, having spent parts of two seasons in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Cedar Rapids Roughriders before joining the Magicians this season.

NAHL rookie Pierce Crawford will be the other forward representing the Magicians at Top Prospects. The Park Ridge, Illinois native is second on the team with 11 goals and 25 points through 33 games played. Crawford's 14 assists is good tied for 3rd best on the team.

The final Magicians skater that will represent that team at Top Prospects is defenseman Kyle Wagner. The St. Francis, Minnesota native has been a great story for the Magicians this season after starting the season at the tier III level. Through 20 games played in the NAHL this season, Wagner has tallied 13 points on 4 goals and 9 assists while splitting time between forward and defense. He also boasts a team best +/- rating of +7.
