BALTIMORE, Maryland (July 30, 2008) - The American Indoor Football Association has released the 29th edition of its new Internet radio program, This Week In The AIFA.
This special edition of the program focuses on AIFA Bowl II, where the Florence Phantoms defeated the Wyoming Cavalry, 48-12. Interview guests include Phantoms coach Tavares Bowens, AIFA Bowl II MVP Omar Jacobs, Phantoms owner Barbara Spignor and Phantoms Vice President and General Manager Bennie King. They were interviewed following the victory last Friday night. AIFA co-founder Michael Mink provides analysis of the game as an additional guest on the program. An additional voice heard on the program is play-by-play announcer Mike McGarry.
This Week In The AIFA is a downloadable Internet radio program, sometimes referred to as a "Podcast." The program is produced by Bill Hazen Productions, in conjunction with the AIFA and OurSports Central Radio. It is available for download directly through both the AIFA's web site (www.aifaprofootball.com) and OurSports Central's web site (www.oursportscentral.com).
This Week In The AIFA is written, produced and hosted by veteran play-by-play broadcaster and AIFA Media/Public Relations Director, Bill Hazen. The program utilizes the latest in digital audio technology to increase the audio quality of interview segments from throughout the league.
