Episode Eight of "This Week In The IFL" is currently up and available for IFL fans to enjoy. This week's program features a pair of guest from teams whose playoff hopes are on the line this weekend. Tri-Cities Fever Defense Back Lionell Singleton and Green Bay Blizzard Head Coach Chad Baldwin join host Denis Puska. Additionally, Puska goes "Inside the Huddle", taking a look at the news and notes from around the league, a recap of Week 14, and a preview of Week 15 of the Indoor Football League Season.
The first guest on this week's program is Lionell Singleton. After a slow start, the Fever have battled their way back into playoff contention. However, a loss last week to Colorado has severely reduced their chances. The Fever will rely on the veteran leadership of Singleton who has proven himself to be one of the IFL's best on the defensive side of the ball. A 1st Team All-IFL selection in 2012 and currently leading the IFL in interceptions (7) and ranking 7th in tackles (70), Singleton is well on his way to earning another 1stTeam honor. Singleton discusses the season to date for the Fever and breaks down this weekend's important matchup with the Colorado Ice.
Puska's second guest is Chad Baldwin. After a 1-5 start, the Blizzard made a midseason coaching change, promoting Baldwin from Defensive Coordinator to Head Coach. Since the change, the Blizzard have won 3 of 4 games to get back into the United Conference playoff race. Baldwin spends some time with Puska discussing the changes he has implemented to get Green Bay back on track and the talent that exists up and down all of the IFL team's rosters.
