"This Week in the IFL" Episode Four Now Available

Richmond, VA - "This Week In The IFL" returns with Episode Four. On this week's show, host Denis Puska is joined by a pair of All-IFL performers. Green Bay Blizzard Defensive Back/Kick Returner B.J. Hill and Tri-Cities Fever Wide Receiver Steven Whitehead round out a star-studded program. Additionally, Puska goes "inside the huddle", taking a look at the news and notes from around the league as well as a recap of Week 7 of the Indoor Football League Season.
Up first is B.J. Hill. The Green Bay Blizzard pulled off a huge upset in Week 7, defeating the previously unbeaten Cedar Rapids Titans 41-38 in double overtime. A traditional power, the Blizzard are off to a slow start in 2013, with Saturday's win marking their first of the season. Hill has been an impact player for the Blizzard since his debut in 2010. The 2011 Special Teams Player of the Year has earned All-IFL honors three times in his career; a First Team spot at Kick Returner in 2011 and Second Team spots in 2010 as a Kick Returner and 2012 as a Defensive Back. Hill and the Blizzard will look to make it two wins in a row this Sunday when they take the trip to Sioux Falls to face the Storm.
The second guest this week is Tri-Cities Fever Wide Receiver Steven Whitehead. Much like the Blizzard, the Fever have also struggled in the early going in 2013. The Fever sit at 1-3 after back-to-back losses to the Texas Revolution. In difficult times the Fever usually turn to their veteran leader Whitehead for big plays. The 2012 Second Team All-IFL Wide Receiver has been solid in 2013 as well, ranking 4th in catches (22), 7th in yards (205) and accounting for 5 touchdowns. The Fever visit the Wyoming Cavalry for an Intense Conference matchup in Week 8.
