LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, announced Wednesday that they have re-signed Justin Styffe for the 2011-2012 season.
Styffe is a 5'10", 180 pound hard nosed forward from Okanagan Falls, British Columbia. This will be the third straight season he will be seen in a Bucks uniform.
Over the past two seasons in Laredo, Styffe has appeared in 73 games where he scored 18 goals and had 15 assists. During those two seasons, he also racked up 253 minutes in penalties.
"I am happy to be back in a Bucks uniform this season and to be a part of the new era of the Laredo Bucks," says Justin Styffe. "I am looking forward to working with Coach Dube and bringing the Cup back to Laredo."
"It is great to have Justin back next season," states Head Coach Dube. "He is a hard working, gritty and tough forward that does whatever it takes to win."
"I have enjoyed being a part of the Laredo community over the past two years and have met some amazing people. I am looking forward to making an even bigger impact this season in the community," added Styffe.
Styffe is the 3rd player signed for the 2011-2012 season. He is also the second returnee signed (Adam Rivet and Justin Styffe).
