Jersey Shore BlueClaws News Release
Over the last several weeks, one question has emerged as the most frequently asked within the walls of FirstEnergy Park: Who's coming?
Unfortunately, we still can't tell you because that would end the fun right here in this email newsletter. What we can tell you is that you're going to want to be in the crowd on Saturday, May 17. You're going to want to be able to tell your friends and family that you were in the ballpark the day the BlueClaws finally answered that "Who's coming?" question. You're going to want to see the worldwide debut of the next Jersey shore phenomenon.
Quite simply, you're going to want to see who's coming.
BlueClaws Keep Pace in North Division Race
Naylor, Taylor help Lakewood take three-of-four from Lexington
The BlueClaws are over 30 games into their 2008 season and despite a slow start, the club is still fighting for the North Division crown. The BlueClaws sit at 16-16 as they head out on the road for eight games against Kannapolis and Greensboro.
The 'Claws finished their eight game home stand on a high note, taking three straight from Lexington to pull within three and a half games of first-place Lake County.
Michael Taylor, who was named Phillies Minor League Player of the month in April, continued his hot ways, hitting a crucial three-run home run in Monday night's 11-7 victory over the Legends. Mike Durant, Dominic Brown and Travis Mattair have also been frequent offensive contributors in Lakewood's recent run of success, while Drew Naylor has been holding things down on the mound.
The BlueClaws will return to FirstEnergy Park for eight games starting on Friday, May 16 for four games each against West Virginia and Greensboro.
