The "Witching Hour" Returns to Union Station Pub & Grill
June 24, 2015 - Arena Football League (AFL)
New Orleans VooDoo News Release
NEW ORLEANS - Rookie wide receiver Charles McClain will join tonight's "Witching Hour" from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. live on location from Union Station Pub & Grill in downtown New Orleans. The show can be heard locally on Fox Sports Radio 1280 AM, or on connected devices by clicking above, or visiting iHeartRadio.
"Voice of the VooDoo" Ken Trahan hosts tonight's show and will open with Coach Dean Cokinos, discussing the season thus far and previewing Saturday night's game with the Orlando Predators.
McClain has made a quick start to life in the Arena Football League catching 15 catches for 217 yards and six total touchdowns (five receiving) in his first two games in the Crescent City. McClain came to New Orleans after spending the previous four plus seasons with the PIFL's Alabama Hammers, where he first developed a relationship with former Hammers' coaches Cokinos and VooDoo defensive coordinator Cosmo Dematteo.
Making his third appearance on the "Witching Hour" tonight is VooDoo color analyst Jon Norris. Norris has served in a variety of roles for the team since 2011, including Vice President, General Manager, and even interim coach for a brief time in 2011. Norris was a head coach for four years in af2, guiding his teams (Tulsa Talons & Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings) to a 31-17 mark and making the playoffs in all four seasons.
Closing out tonight's show will be our weekly expert on the opposition as "Voice of the Predators" Brian Paul. Paul is in his first season calling Predators games for Rock 100 DIZ, as part of the Aquarius 7 Broadcasting Network. He can be followed on Twitter @Rock100DIZ.
Fan participation is encouraged, and fans are invited to either attend, or call into the show to interact with VooDoo players, coaches, and legends from the team's past.
