HOME SWEET HOME... After two straight road games the Fire finally returns to Freedom Hall to take on the Florida Firecats (5-1) Saturday night in Freedom Hall. The Firecats are the defending af2 champions and lost their first game of the season last week at Bossier City 28-22. The Fire is 2-3 all-time against defending af2 champions (2002 – Quad City 0-2, 2003 Peoria 2-0, 2004 Tulsa 0-1). Saturday night's game will feature a Coyote Calhoun bobblehead giveaway, a flag football game between the Clear Channel staff and WAVE 3 staff, a tug-of-war between the UPS Air and Ground crews and DeCamillis, Mattingly & DaLeure Law Office will present the world famous Zooperstars. Kick-off is set for 7:30 but get to Freedom Hall early to enjoy the Sumerset Houseboats party zone and the Meijer Kids Zone. FIRE DROPS TO FIFTH... Following last week's loss to Green Bay the Fire has dropped one spot to fifth in this week's coach's poll. Four of the five teams in the Fire's division are ranked in the top 12 (Manchester – 1, Green Bay – 3, Louisville – 5, WB/Scranton – 6 & Albany was first in other teams receiving votes). Seven of the current top 12 are on the Fire's 2005 schedule. Including this week's opponent Florida who is ranked fourth. NEXT UP... The Fire will be playing back to back home games for the first time this season. Next Friday night the Fire will take on division rival Albany at 7:30 P.M. in Freedom Hall. The Star Wars characters will be at the game and we will be giving away adult t-shirts. The game against Albany will also be V Foundation night, supporting the Jimmy V Foundation for cancer research.

LISTEN TO COACH TOMMY... Every Tuesday on Xtra Sports 790 you can hear Louisville Fire Coaches Show from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. with host Paul Wilman and Fire head coach Tommy Johnson. Each week Fire fans can call in and ask Coach Johnson question pertaining to the team or comment on the season.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES... The Fire also has birthday party packages available for all eight home games. DRIVE TO ARENABOWL... The AFL's drive to Arena Bowl XIX is moving full steam ahead with this being the last week of the regular season. This Sunday the Chicago Rush will take on the Nashville Kats at 3:00 P.M. on WAVE-3. Chicago can secure a spot in the Arena Bowl XIX playoffs with a victory, while Nashville has been eliminated. Studio analysis Al Trautwig and Glen Parker have also each adopted two af2 teams for the season and each week at half-time they will report on those teams. Trautwig has picked Bossier City while Parker has stuck with his former teammate, Fire owner Will Wolford and the Fire. Watch the AFL on NBC each week to get the full update on Arena Bowl XIX.

VEGAS BABY VEGAS... As you know by now Arena Bowl XIX is taking place in Las Vegas. Don't' forget to catch Las Vegas on WAVE-3 Monday at 9:00 P.M. to see Colorado Crush owner John Elway and Philadelphia Soul owner Jon Bon Jovi as guest stars on NBC's hit drama.
