KEEP AN EYE OUT… In next week’s Fire Wire we are going to be giving away two tickets to the Bengals/Steelers game on November 21. If you need to renew or purchase you 2005 season tickets reply to the Fire Wire or call the office 368-0009.

WEBSITE REDESIGNED… In case you haven’t seen it yet we have a new website. The redesigned site is still at www.louisvillefirefootball.com. Look for more in depth content on the Fire featuring the WILDFIRES, updated player bios as players join the Fire for the 2005 season.

TRYOUTS A SUCCESS… The Fire recently held try-outs for the WILDFIRE dance team and for the football team. Look for new bios and pictures of the WILDFIRES on the website, www.louisvillefirefootball.com, starting next week.

TIGER-CATS MAKE CFL PLAYOFFS… Former Louisville Fire OL/DL Jonta Woodard and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats finished the 2004 regular season 9-8-1. The Tiger-Cats will take the Toronto Argonauts tonight at Toronto.

HIGH SCHOOL UPDATE… Both St. X and Trinity made the playoffs this season. St. X will take on Meade County tonight at Manual Stadium and Trinity will play Ryle tonight at Trinity. Tony Stallings and Atherton finished the season 1-9. Demetrius Forney and Clarksville ended up 5-5 on the season. Alfonzo Browning and North Harrison will finished with a 4-6 record. Coach Johnson and the KCD Bearcats went 6-4 in 2004. The St. X freshman team, which Will Wolford is an assistant coach for, finished the 2004 season undefeated going 10-0.

COLLEGE GUYS… Fire OL/DL Andrew Tippins and the St. Cloud State Huskies are currently 7-2 and will play their final game this week at Minnesota-Duluth. Fire assistant coach Adam Shackelford and the Anderson Ravens (4-4) lost to Hanover last week 21-0 and will travel to Mt. Saint Joe’s in Cincinnati tomorrow.
