
The disciplinary committee imposes a suspension to David Victor of Cape Breton

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, September 22nd, 2005 (QMJHL) - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's disciplinary committee imposed a three game suspension today, to Cape Breton defenseman David Victor.
The suspension follows an incident that occurred on September 20th, in a contest opposing the Screaming Eagles to the Rimouski Océanic, in which Mr. Victor was caught assaulting a player who was laid on the ice.
Before rendering their decision, the disciplinary committee reviewed the video sequence of the incident and consulted all concerned parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL's policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
