OPENING DAY IS TOMORROW!
140-GAME PROMOTION RETURNS
Tomorrow at 7:05 PM the Palm Beach Cardinals take on the Jupiter Hammerheads to kick off the 2008 Florida State League season. The opener marks the return of the 140-Game Promotion. All fans (18 years and older) who attend ALL 140 games at Roger Dean Stadium this summer have the opportunity to win FREE "Minor League Baseball For Life" at the stadium. Fans must sign in at the Palm Beach Post Information Booth between the start and end of the game each day to qualify. Tickets are still available at the Roger Dean Stadium Ticket Office or through Ticketmaster.
FIREWORKS COMING FRIDAY!!!
Roger Dean Stadium kicks off its' opening weekend in grand fashion on Friday when the Jupiter Hammerheads take on the Palm Beach Cardinals at 7:05 PM. Immediately following the contest will be FIREWORKS!!! Also planned for opening weekend is the Cardinals/ Hammerheads Magnetic Schedule Giveaway. Thursday - Sunday, the first 500 fans in the ballpark will receive a Cardinals and Hammerheads Magnetic Schedule, courtesy of Gilman Ciocia.
SUNFEST...EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT
Wednesday, April 30th will mark the return of SunFest to Palm Beach County. Sunfest will be held in downtown West Palm Beach from April 30th through May 4th. This years event will feature a variety of artists including Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Good Charlotte, The Black Crowes, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Morris Day & the Time. KNOTHOLE GANG...ONLY ONE DAY LEFT TO SAVE MONEY!
A reminder that there is only one day left to sign up for the Roger Dean Stadium Knothole Gang and save money. If you sign up tomorrow, you will receive a special discounted rate of ONLY $13 per member (after April 3rd the price will increase to its' regular price of $16 per member). The Knothole Gang is a group of young Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals fans up to the age of 12 who receive special membership benefits including a FREE t-shirt and FREE admission, FREE hot dog and soda at every Tuesday night home game during the Florida State League season. KIDS FREE ADMISSION PROGRAM INTRODUCED
National City and Roger Dean Stadium are teaming up to offer kids ages 12 and under an opportunity to "take me out to the ballgame" for FREE this summer. Kids will be provided FREE admission to most Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals games played Sunday through Thursday this season. DOG DAYS OF SUMMER RETURNS APRIL 12TH
The Dog Days of Summer will be returning for a 7th year during the 2008 Minor League Baseball season. This summer, the Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals have once again partnered with Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League on their monthly salute to "Man's Best Friend". The first Dog Days of Summer promotion will take place on Saturday, April 12th when the Palm Beach Cardinals take on the Brevard County Manatees. Walk to Defeat ALSâ¢, a concerted effort to raise funds benefiting research and patient care services for people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), will take place Saturday, April 19th at Roger Dean Stadium prior to the Jupiter Hammerheads/ Palm Beach Cardinals game at 6:05 PM.
