
The 95th Grey Cup - Blue Bombers vs. Roughriders

Toronto, ON (November 19, 2007) - The Saskatchewan Roughriders (12-6) and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (10-7-1) will compete for the 95th Grey Cup at Rogers Centre on Sunday, November 25, 2007.
This will mark the first-ever Grey Cup game played between these two rival football clubs.
The last time the Roughriders played in the Grey Cup was in 1997, losing to the Toronto Argonauts 47-23 at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta.
The last time the Blue Bombers played in the Grey Cup was in 2001, losing to the Calgary Stampeders 27-19 at Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec.
The Blue Bombers will wear their dark colour uniforms and will use the bench normally occupied by the Toronto Argonauts during home games on the East side of the field. They will be assigned the locker room normally occupied by the Argonauts.
The Roughriders will wear their light colour uniforms and will use the bench normally occupied by the visiting team during Toronto home games on the West side of the field. They will be assigned the locker room normally occupied by the visiting team.
Winnipeg and Saskatchewan split its regular season series 1-1, with the Blue Bombers outscoring the Roughriders 60-46.

The 95th Grey Cup gets underway this Sunday at 5:30pm EST on CBC and RDS. Fans listening on the radio can tune in to SIRIUS Satellite Radio and THE FAN Sports Radio Network.
