
Thang named USHL offensive player of the week

Omaha forward Ryan Thang, 18, rang up five goals and one assist in three games last week, including a hat trick in Omaha's 7-2 win over Green Bay on Saturday. The Edina, Minn., native was also a plus-2 for the week. On the season, Thang, a Notre Dame recruit, has 23 goals for 50 points after 55 games, including a league-leading plus-35 rating.
