
Texas Marshals Fare Well at All-Star Game

Last night in Victoria Texas, the Texas Collegiate League played the 2015 All-Star Game. The North Squad defeated the South Squad by a score of 4-1. Here is the box score:

Texas Marshals pitcher Dylan Porter earned the victory for the North Squad, pitching a scoreless third inning. He gave up one hit and struck out one.
Austin Hilton also pitched the fourth inning, giving up no runs or hits and striking out three.
Mitchell Andrews appeared as a pinch hitter and catcher, going 0-for-2 with a walk.
Designated hitter Tyler Lawrence, of the Brazos Valley Bombers, went 3-for-4. Jimmy Norris, also of the Bombers, went 2-for-3 with a RBI.
The Marshals will join their All-Star Game teammates in Victoria this Thursday night. They begin a two-game series against the Generals. Then the Marshals return home to start a two-game series starting Saturday night, July 11, against the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
