Texas Legends Accept Applications for Several Positions
September 8, 2010 - NBA G League (G League)
Texas Legends News Release
FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends may have a team name and a Hall of Fame coach, but they still lack some of the most essential parts of a basketball team. To solve that problem, the Legends will accept applications via Facebook for a Public Announcer, radio play-by-play, national anthem performers and a Legendary mascot entertainer!
"The Texas Legends are in search of the next great entertainer," Legends Owner Donnie Nelson commented. "Making this all star team doesn't require sneakers but does require talent and guts. Here's your chance to show your stuff Texas!"
Interested fans can visit the Texas Legends page on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Frisco-TX/Texas-Legends/186090906001 .
Applicants should record videos of themselves announcing lineups, singing the national anthem or performing mascot tricks. Then, post those videos on the Facebook wall. YouTube videos are accepted as well.
By doing the audition process through Facebook, fans will have the ability to comment on submissions.
The audition process will be open through October 1.
The Texas Legends have sold more than 20,000 tickets for their historic inaugural season. To reserve your tickets today, call 1-214-469-0822 or email info@TexLegends.com .
