
Temple Owl Signs with Stampede

HARRISBURG, PA (January 12, 2012) - Harrisburg Stampede's General Manager and Head Coach, Bernie Nowotarski announced today that he has signed WR Jamel Harris for the 2012 Season.
Jamel played his High School football at Red Bank Regional HS in Little Silver, New Jersey. His senior year was highlighted by being named as an All-County, All-State and All-American First Team Player. Jamel was named to the same three honor teams as a member of Red Bank Regional's Track team. His college football career was played in Philadelphia at Temple University.
Jamel is originally from Red Bank, NJ but currently resides in Philadelphia. We have been very fortunate to find such outstanding talent from the Quad-State areas of PA, NJ, MD and Delaware.
Jamel has outstanding speed and hands. He is also a capable two way player being able to play DB, if necessary. He also brings with him AIFA Indoor experience from his time playing with the Yakima Warriors in the great state of Washington. At 6' and 200 lbs, he also has the size and strength to be an active play maker in our offense scheme.
Just a Reminder: The Stampede's Last Open-Try Out before Training Camp in March will be on Friday February 3, 2012 at In The Net Sports Complex in Palmyra Pa., Registration starts at 9pm and the Work-Out is from 10pm - 12:30am Info can be found www.inthenet.com.
