BILOXI, MS -- The Mississippi Surge announced that the team will hold a Teddy Bear Toss night on December 26 when they host the Louisiana IceGators at 7:30 p.m.

"We're really excited to bring back the Teddy Bear Toss this season," said Surge chief operating officer Art Clarkson. "It's a great event because it's fun for the fans, who get to shower the ice with teddy bears, and because the bears go to local charities who provide them to children in need."

Fans are invited to bring a teddy bear or other stuffed animal to throw onto the ice immediately following the first goal scored by the Surge on the 26th.

The Surge host the Huntsville Havoc this Thursday evening! Every Thursday is Thirsty Thursday, with $2 beers until the end of the first intermission. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. Purchase your tickets by calling (228) 287-PUCK!
