
Tarpons Coaching Staff Returns for 2013

FORT MYERS, FL - A week after failing short in Ultimate Bowl 2, the Florida Tarpons are excited to announce that the entire coaching staff will return for the 2013 season and quest for Ultimate Bowl 3.
Led by UIFL Southern Conference Coach of the Year Michael Taylor, retained all three assistant coaches for 2013. Defensive Coordinator Brent Burnside, Offensive Line Coach Norm Cormier, and Defensive Line Coach Wes Parker will return for the upcoming UIFL season.
"I feel our first season was a success. Being able to host the league championship game in our first season was a great honor. Our coaching staff did a great job all year, and I'm excited to have them all returning. With increased competition, we wanted to make sure we had a solid nucleus returning. 2013 starts now for the Florida Tarpons." Said Tarpons Owner Andrew Haines
The Florida Tarpons ended the 2012 regular season with an 11-0 record, and had home field advantage throughout the post season. The Southern Conference Champions, fell short in Ultimate Bowl 2 to the Cincinnati Commandos 61-44.
"I'm excited to have the entire coaching staff return for the 2013 season. Our goal is to get better this offseason and compete for the UIFL Championship in 2013." Added Head Coach Michael Taylor.
The Florida Tarpons 2012 UIFL Southern Conference Champions are now selling season tickets for the 2013 season, and start at only $42.00 for all 7 regular season home games.
