
Tarpons Add Chris Wallace to Roster

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Tarpons professional football team announced the signing of quarterback Chris Wallace on Tuesday, and Wallace will make his debut this Friday against the Rome Rampage at Germain Arena.
Wallace played eight seasons with the Florida Firecats, which were an af2 team that played at Germain Arena until folding in 2009. Wallace passed for more than 22,000 yards and started over 100 games. In 2008, he broke all-time league record for touchdown passes (484) and passes completed (1,797). He became af2's all-time yardage leader in 2009. Wallace was with the New Orleans Voodoo and the Pittsburgh Power in the Arena Football League last season.
"We are always looking to improve our roster, and when we had the opportunity to sign Chris we jumped on it." Said Head Coach Michael Taylor.
