
Tampa Bay Storm Re-Sign McGill

TAMPA - The Tampa Bay Storm have re-signed defensive tackle Tim McGill through 2010 announced Head Coach and General Manager Tim Marcum.
"Tim has been a big bright spot this season on the defensive line'' said Marcum. "He gives us a big push in the middle and anchors our defensive line."
McGill (6-foot-3, 310-pounds, Illinois), is in his second season with Tampa Bay and fourth in the Arena Football League. He currently leads the Storm with four sacks and finished tied for the team lead in 2007 with five sacks. McGill currently ranks tied for ninth in the AFL in sacks and tied for sixth in tackles for a loss with 6.5.
"I really like Tampa and the coaching staff," said McGill. "It feels good to sign this deal, it gives me some stability."
