Tampa Bay Storm News Release
TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm earned a spot in the 2013 Arena Football League playoffs this evening. This is the first playoff berth for the Storm since the team went to ArenaBowl XXIII in 2010.
Entering tonight's action the Storm would solidify a playoff berth with either a victory over the Pittsburgh Power or a loss by the New Orleans VooDoo. The Storm game is currently still in progress, however the VooDoo fell to the Jacksonville Sharks 58-49 earlier this evening.
Tampa Bay will receive either a third or fourth seed in the playoffs and head to either Jacksonville or Philadelphia in the first round (August 2-4). Tampa Bay will secure the third seed with a victory tonight and an Orlando Predator loss.
