
Storm Makes Playoffs, Despite Losing 6th Game In Row

Tampa, FL - Despite Tampa Bay (7-10) losing to the Pittsburgh Power, 48-37, Saturday night on the Amalie Motor Oil Field at the Tampa Bay Times Forum, the Storm has gained either the third or fourth position in the Arena Football League playoffs.
Pittsburgh, behind AFL rookie quarterback Shane Austin, tallied a decisive 27 points in the 4th quarter.
Receiver Joe Hills led the Storm with a pair of touchdown receptions.
The Storm completes the regular AFL season next Saturday (July 27) as they travel to Jacksonville to meet the Southern Division champion Sharks (11-6). The Sharks defeated New Orleans, 58-49, Saturday.
