TUKWILA, Wash. - Playing their seventh match of the 2023 campaign, LA Galaxy II fell 3-1 on the road to the Tacoma Defiance at Starfire Stadium on Sunday night. LA Galaxy II forward Aaron Bibout scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the loss to Tacoma.

LA Galaxy Academy

Seven players with ties to the LA Galaxy Academy started in the match against Tacoma: Carson Klein, Marcus Ferkranus, Matteo Carbone, Adrián González, Adam Saldaña, Alex Alcalá, Jonathan Pérez, Brandon Téllez and Matteo Carbone. Additionally, three players with ties to the LA Galaxy Academy appeared as substitutes against the Defiance: Juan Calderón, Diego López and Brandon Téllez.
