T2 Announce Additional Schedule Details for 2018

PORTLAND, Ore. - T2 today announced the start times and home venue locations for their 34-game, 2018 USL regular-season schedule. In 2018, the club will host nine of its home matches at Providence Park, while playing eight home matches at Merlo Field on the campus of the University of Portland, including the team's home opener on April 18.
Following a five-game road trip to start the season, due to the construction currently underway at Providence Park as part of phase one of the stadium expansion, Portland will play host to Rio Grande Valley FC Toros in the team's regular-season home opener at Merlo Field on Wednesday, April 18; kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (Pacific) in a game previously scheduled to be played at Providence Park. The club's first home game at Providence Park will take place on Wednesday, May 2, as T2 takes on Sacramento Republic FC at 7 p.m. (Pacific).
"With construction at Providence Park, returning to Merlo Field for eight games provided additional scheduling flexibility, considering the compressed timeframe involved with each of the three schedules, between the Portland Timbers, Portland Thorns FC and T2," said Mike Golub, president of business for the clubs. "Both Providence Park and Merlo are great venues for T2, and through fan feedback it's clear fans enjoy both stadiums."
Individual-game tickets for the 2018 season start at $10 and will go on sale on April 4 at 10 a.m. (Pacific) by visiting www.timbers.com/tickets . Season tickets, starting at $100, are now on sale for T2 home matches by calling (503) 553-5555. All Timbers Annual Members receive general admission season tickets for T2. These tickets are good for either venue. Contact your member service representative for details.
T2 begin the 2018 season on Friday, March 16, as they take on Seattle Sounders FC 2 at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Wash.
Among the season's highlights, the 2018 campaign marks the ninth year of the Providence Health & Fitness Days program, promoting healthy living to youth in the community through soccer. The Providence Health & Fitness Day match will feature a contest between T2 and LA Galaxy II on Friday, May 18; kickoff is set for 11 a.m. (Pacific).
All T2 matches will be broadcast via a live web stream on www.timbers2.com . Start times are subject to change.
