
Syracuse Crunch Announce Training Camp Schedule

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have announced the 2016 training camp will open on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. at the War Memorial Arena.
Players will report to Syracuse and have their first on-ice practice on Oct. 4. Camp will run through Friday, Oct. 7 and feature the annual Welcome to Town event at Turning Stone Resort Casino on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. where fans will have the first opportunity to meet the 2016-17 team. The week will conclude with two preseason contests against the Utica Comets.
The home-and-home preseason series will begin on Saturday, Oct. 8 when the Crunch host the Comets at the War Memorial Arena. The teams will finish at the Utica Memorial Auditorium on Oct. 9. Both games are scheduled for 5 p.m.
The full on-ice schedule for Crunch training camp is below:
Tuesday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Dates and times are subject to change. All Crunch practices at the War Memorial Arena are free and open to the public.
