LAKE CHARLES - With the Swashbucklers accepting the resignation of Coach Kip Texada the team has found leadership from within the organization.
Hager, believes his choice will speak volumes in terms of integrity, knowledge of the game, discipline, and team unity. "I've known our new coach for five years and believe me, he will get the job done", said Hager.
Along with General Manager, Courtney Bagley, Hager will introduce his new head coach at a press conference scheduled this Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 11:45 AM at the Southwest Louisiana Convention and Visitor's Bureau located at 1205 North Lakeshore Drive.
Bagley, Swashbucklers' new GM, said, "You're going to love our new head coach. There's no one more qualified to step into this position and fill Coach Texada's shoes".
