LAKE CHARLES - Swashbucklers First Mates Cheerleader Director Stacey Lantz has scheduled tryouts in search of excellence for the upcoming 2006 season. The tryout session is scheduled for Saturday, January 7th at Guzzy's Gymnastics, 3402 5th Avenue, on the corner of College St. and 5th Ave. Registration starts at 8:30 AM.
The following agenda will be strictly enforced:
- 8:30 am-check in
- 8:45 am---stretch and warm up
- 9:00 am---learn cheer and dance
- 11:15 am-eat, change clothes, etc
- Noon-try outs will begin
First Mates Director will run the tryouts. Mrs. Lantz is excited in assembling the very best squad she can find and said, "The 2006 First Mates will make Southwest Louisiana proud during their inaugural season. If you liked football before, you will love Swashbucklers indoor football this season with the First Mates."
Registration fees are just Twenty dollars and non-refundable. Only cash will be accepted. Comfortable attire is recommended, with a separate outfit for tryouts.
