Swashbucklers Gearing Up for 2013 Season

Louisiana Swashbucklers News Release


(Lake Charles, La.) The Louisiana Swashbucklers; coming off another season in which they earned a trip to the playoffs, begin their quest for a Championship Season on Saturday, March 9th at the Lake Charles Civic Center. The Bucs will be tested immediately in the opener as they play the Defending Champion Albany Panthers.

If you ever dreamed of playing Professional Indoor Football, this may be your chance. The Swashbucklers will hold open tryouts for the 2013 team on Sat, December 15th on the field at Cowboy Stadium beginning with registration at 9:00am, and on the field workouts at 10:00am.There is a $50 registration fee, and you can register online by going to labucs.com and clicking the "team" tab. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

The Swashbucklers have an exciting and challenging schedule this season, including home games with the two new expansion teams-the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks and the Charlotte Speed. The complete 2013 schedule is listed below.
