Lake Charles, LA- The Louisiana Swashbucklers returned home with their fourth victory of the season. Once again, the Swashbucklers defense dominated the trenches with eight sacks and two forced interceptions. With Freddie Harrison back at QB, the offense put up 70 points.

It was homecoming for kicker Whitney "Disco" Hilin who made an impressive showing. "I can't wait to get back to the fans in Lake Charles", said Hillin. "I've decided to save the celebration dancing for our home crowd", he said with a huge smile just before the game in Belton, TX.

The Swashbucklers travel to Frisco, TX for the Thunder's season opener. Frisco is 2 and 1 for the season.

Louisiana returns home on May 19th and hosts the San Angelo Stampede Express. The FirstMates Cheerleaders are hosting a cheer camp for girls ages 3 - 12 on the morning of Saturday, May 19th who will then perform at half time. In addition, the team is planning a tribute to the fallen officers at half time, a visit from area festival queens, and a performance by the Sam Houston Varsity Winter Guard. Returning to the stands is the Black Watch Drum Line from Westlake High School.
