Swashbuckler's Finalize Camp Roster Announced

LAKE CHARLES - This week the Louisiana Swashbucklers had a press conference to announce the final thirty man training camp roster. Several players have been signed over the past few weeks and the Bucs have added the final players for camp.

Wide receivers Reggie Williams and Steve Mares will help form a loaded Buckler receiving corps. Travis Pickering will challenge kicker LJ Daugherty after kicking for the Swashbucklers in two games last year toward the end of the season.

Defensive backs Travis Moses, Joe Judge and Jerod Jones will help make up the talented defensive backfield for the Bucs. Fullback and last year's offensive MVP Phillip O'Neal will return to the team along with fullback/linebacker Myron Turner. The offensive line will have a different look as Zack Rogers, and Derek Gibson join the lone Swashbuckler All-star from last year, Major Griffin.

The team will host another workout at 9 a.m., Saturday March 11, at the LaGrange Practice Field. Visitors are welcome to check out this year's talent.
