Swarm Announces Guns N' Hoses Night on Friday, February 10 Against Philadelphia Wings

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm announced today that Guns N' Hoses Night will be held on Friday, February 10 in conjunction with the club's game against the Philadelphia Wings at 7:00 PM at Xcel Energy Center. Guns N' Hoses Night will be highlighted by numerous events and activities featuring local police officers and firefighters.

The following events and activities will take place as part of Guns N' Hoses Night at Friday's Swarm game:

- The St. Paul SWAT team will deliver the ceremonial game ball by repelling 130 feet from the Xcel ceiling.

- Various police and fire vehicles will parked in front of the Xcel Energy Center, including a SWAT armored car and fire engines.

- An inflatable play area will be available for kids in the shape of Sparky on top of the Xcel Energy Center Box Office.

- Also located in the concourse will be a police K9 demonstration, an interactive trailer supplied by the Minnesota State Fire Marshal and several firefighter cut-outs for people to take pictures with.

- Halftime will feature a police officer vs. firefighter obstacle course contest.

- Police officers and firefighters will also participate in numerous contests during the game.

By showing their badge or identification, police officers and firefighters can purchase a special lower level ticket for $12.00 to Friday's game. As part of this offer, $5.00 from each ticket will benefit the Minnesota Chapter of COPS (Concerns of Police Survivors) and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
