Surge Ticket Deadline Friday

With the deadline looming, the Mississippi Surge needs to get 25 season ticket deposits on Friday in order to assure the team's operation for the 2012-13 Southern Professional Hockey League season.
"The reality is for us to operate, as our owner Tim Kerr has stated, we need to have 700 season ticket deposits by the end of the day on Friday, (May 11)" SPHL Coach of the Year Jeff Bes said.
At the close of business on Thursday, May 10, the Surge had received deposits on 676 season tickets.
"We've had a great response but we are not where we need to be just yet," Bes said. "For those who have been waiting to put your deposits down, the time is now! We have to have those deposits in to hit our goal of 700 season tickets to move forward."
Fans who make a deposit can still receive a $50 gift certificate courtesy of the Hard Rock Cafe. A limited number of Hard Rock gift certificates are available.
