
SunFire Remains Perfect on Season

SAN DIEGO - Courtney Elliott rushed for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns as the SunFire blanked visiting Arizona 30 -0 in an American Football Women's League game at Patrick Henry High on Saturday night.
For the SunFire (7-0) the shutout was it's second of the season. It's defense forced six turnovers and didn't allow the Titans to get inside its 20-yard line.
San Diego's DeAngela Minter, put an exclamation point on the victory with her 75-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Natalie Gorman scored the team's other touch down on a 5yard run.
SunFire kicker, Sonja Baczynski hit a 31-yard field goal and went 3 for 4 on PAT's.
The playoffs begin December 7th.
