Arizona Sundogs News Release
Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs, never dreamed of such worldwide media coverage today as the sun rose over Prescott Valley this morning.
Midmorning Satish "Catfish" Athelli's twitter page exploded from numerous sources inquiring about their "Whatever it Takes" Campaign. Within minutes the Sundogs' office phones were ringing non-stop with requests for interviews and questions about their efforts.
ABC15 News, Fox10 News and AZTV all made the trip from Phoenix this afternoon to learn about the Sundogs ticket campaign. The support and interest from local media outlets was a welcomed and overwhelming feeling. Brad Fain, Chris Presson, Lew Rees and Team Captain Jason Morgan have all been in a lift extended 30' in the air for more than 96 hours, in an effort to sign up 300 new season tickets holders for their 2013-14 season.
International media from Ontario, Canada and the BBC World News in the UK also reached out today after learning about the unusual and incredible strategy set forth by the Arizona Sundogs organization.
Though the gentleman hoped to go home tonight and sleep in a warm bed they have been reenergized by today's events. They are only 17 tickets away from reaching their goal, which they hope to obtain by tomorrow afternoon.
The Arizona Sundogs are the Central Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes. Season tickets, mini-plan, and single-game ticket information is now available by calling (928) 759-6600 or visiting arizonasundogs.com.
