
Sundogs Momentum in the Third Leads to a 3-0 Victory

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs momentum in the third period led them to a 3-0 victory over the Ft. Worth Brahmas, Friday night at Tim's Toyota Center.
Both teams remained scoreless through 40 minutes of play until Zack Firlotte scored Arizona's first goal 3:43 into the final period. Kevin Baker and Jeff Kyrzakos tallied the assists. Moments later Sebastian Geoffrion and Nick Schneider were each accessed a five minute fighting major and less than a minute later Kirill Tulupov scored again for Arizona improving their lead, with Keith Wynn registering the assist. With less than five minutes remaining in the third period Jeff Kyrzakos scored the Sundogs second goal and his second point of the evening extending the Sundogs to a three nothing lead over the Ft. Worth Brahmas.
David Brown received the shutout for Arizona making 26 saves. Arizona outshot Ft. Worth 29-26. The Sundogs were 0-3 on the power play while Ft. Worth was 0-5 on the power play. The Sundogs conclude their regular season tomorrow night at Tim's Toyota Center against the Ft. Worth Brahmas at 7:05pm. The third annual Salute to Heros event begins tomorrow from 12:00-5:00pm in the parking lot at Tim's Toyota Center and the Sundogs will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off immediately following the game.
