Sundogs Mascot Goes Back to School

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs Mascot, Burnie, spent his Thursday afternoon going back to school.

Burnie appeared at Prescott Valley's Acorn Montessori Elementary School for their "Back to School" Open House in which students and their parents visited the classrooms they would be attending in, and met their new teachers for the upcoming school year.

Burnie spent two hours visiting with children, meeting parents and teachers, all while encouraging everyone about the importance of school and promoting the upcoming 2011-12 hockey season for the Arizona Sundogs.

The Sundogs mascot will also be out in Prescott Valley's Entertainment District as part of today's KDDL Beach Party. People are encouraged to come enjoy the festivities.
