
Strykers Sweep Marshals with 9-1 Win; Bark in the Park this Saturday

The Strykers ended their series in Dallas against the Texas Marshals by winning the game Wednesday night 9-1. The Strykers swept the two game series and will now take on the East Texas Pump Jacks in Kilgore for two games.
Will Hibbs started on the mound and pitched four innings because of a pitch count. Hibbs gave up four hits and struck out three batters. Nolan Riggs came in for five innings of relief. He gave up four hits, one run and struck out eight batters.
Zach Davis started the first with a single. Bobby Schuman then drew a walk. Kevin Santana then hit a RBI single scoring Davis. Schuman would score on a sac fly from Dirk Masters. Santana would score on a RBI double by Robert Heep. The team would get five runs in the seventh inning. Schuman got it started with a single. Santana was then safe on a fielder's choice. Masters then drove in both runners on a two run double. Taylor Taska drove in Masters with a RBI single. Adrian Lopez would come to the plate two batters later and line a single. Taska and Lopez would score on a two run single by Connor Kalisky. The final run for the Strykers came in the eighth inning when Davis would get on with a single and then scored on and E1 by the pitcher.
The Strykers will return home this weekend(August 3rd-4th) after taking on the Pump Jacks in Kilgore. Bark In The Park will be taking place on Saturday(August 3rd).
