
Strykers Look to Split Series with Bombers; Will Honor Woodlands High School Highlanders

The Strykers opened a two game series in Bryan last night against the Bombers. The teams will play game two tonight in Bryan with the Strykers looking to avenge a 6-0 loss.
Last night, Alexis Garza started on the mound for the Strykers. Garza pitched five innings. He gave up two runs early but regained his form to strike out nine batters. Kevin Roy, Martin Cronin and Caulin Cragle pitched the final three innings.
The offense for the Strykers had a difficult time against the Bombers pitching. The team collected four hits on the night, one each from Daniel Homann, Zach Davis, Connor Kalisky and Brian Smith.
After the game in Bryan tonight, the team travels to Victoria for games Saturday and Sunday. The team will return home to face the Bombers this coming Tuesday and Wednesday. Both games will be at 7:05. Tuesday's game is a Chick-Fil-A Tuesday and will feature a pre game recognition of The Woodlands High School Highlanders who are fresh off winning the state title.
