
Storm Washes out Mill Rats

(Summerside, PE): The Summerside Storm washed out the Saint John Mill Rats 112-98 at the Eastlink Arena in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
The Mill Rats held a lead early, and trailed just 44-40 at the half.
In the second half, the Storm bench caught fire led by 6'10 Xavier Hansboro's 19 points. Saint John closed to 88-79 in the fourth, before the game got out of hand.
The Mill Rats got contributions from Antoine Tisby with 20 points and Steve Deluca with 16. Hansboro's 19 points tied a team high for the Storm with power forward Mike Williams followed by 5 others in double figures.
The Mill Rats open the inaugural NBL Canada season 0-1, while the Storm improve to 2-0.
The Mill Rats will look to bounce back quickly as they host the 1-0 London Lightning Sunday afternoon at 2pm at Harbour Station. The lightning are led by Head Coach and former NBA All Star Michael Ray Richardson. London features a number of players from his former team the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry.
