
Storm Tryout Camp Completed

KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League completed its three-day tryout camp in Bloomington, Minn. on Sunday after watching 77 players compete for 25 spots on the 2007-08 Storm protected list.
Following the completion of two All-Star games yesterday afternoon the Storm coaching staff narrowed the roster to 33 players. Although not completely disclosed at this time, the roster includes 18 forwards, 13 defensemen and two goaltenders.
The 11 veteran players on the Storm's protected list heading into tryout camp still remain on the protected list. Those veteran players include Cameron Cooper, Kyle Ensign, Alex Hudson, Mario Lamoureux, Tommy Mannino, Ryan Peltoma, Michael Pilot, Aaron Rock, Jordan VanGilder, Sean Wiles and Jordan Willert.
The Storm coaching staff now has until the July 1st deadline to narrow their protected list down to 25. An entire Storm protected list will be released once approved by USA Hockey.
