
Storm to host Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, May 24

TAMPA BAY- This Saturday, May 24, the Tampa Bay Storm will host "Military Appreciation Night" presented by AMALIE Motor Oil as the team takes on South Division rival Jacksonville Sharks on Amalie Motor Oil Field at the Tampa Bay Times Forum at 7:30 p.m. EST.
The first 5,000 fans will receive a commemorative Military Appreciation Night t-shirt. They will also be able to purchase a military appreciation night t-shirt and a football sporting camouflage at the Tampa Bay Sports store.
Prior to kickoff, fans can take pictures of military vehicles presented by the USO and also take pictures with the Bomber Girls. The Bomber Girls will head to section 118 once the game commences for more photo opportunities.
Amalie will be giving away hats and t-shirts to lucky fans at one-of-two kiosks located on the plaza. In addition, all fans will be able to take a picture with the Storm cheerleaders in front of a giant inflatable motor oil bottle. A Shell race car and trailer will be located on the plaza for all of those that want to get an up close look at a race car. Fans can also register to win a Derrick Brooks signed helmet and a team signed football.
Gatorland will be in attendance with its vehicle on the plaza along with alligator Will E. Bite, who will be patrolling the plaza before heading on into the social quad (section 128). If you want your picture with Will E. Bite, head on over to section 128. Also, for a limited time only, Pete the Penguin will be making a special appearance at the social quad from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Fans can still take advantage of a special ticket package that will benefit local military heroes. The program allows individuals and local business to purchase sponsorship packages ranging between $250 and $1,500. As much as 20 percent of the sponsorship will be donated to the Wounded Vets Association. Additionally, each sponsorship package will provide tickets, ranging from 20 to 100, to military personnel enabling them to attend the game. All sponsors will receive tickets for the May 24th matchup, and will be recognized on Lightning Vision during the game. Bright House Fan Packs are available for fans that want to come out to the game this Saturday night. Starting at $29 fans can purchase a package that includes two tickets, hot dogs and sodas.
