TAMPA, FL -- The Tampa Bay Storm's first playoff game of the 2003 postseason will be on Saturday, May 31, at the St. Pete Times Forum, the Arena Football League announced Friday. Kickoff for the contest is slated for 3:00 pm.

Tickets can be purchased over the phone at (813) 301-6600 or via the Internet at www.tampabaystorm.com.

Only the dates and times of the quarterfinal games have been announced. The full playoff schedule and seeds will be announced Sunday night, following the conclusion of the regular season. The wild card round of the playoffs begins on Saturday, May 24. The Storm received a first round bye and will not begin postseason action until May 31.

Along with the Storm, the San Jose Sabercats will also host a quarterfinal game at 3:00 pm on May 31. Orlando and Los Angeles will host quarterfinal games on Sunday, June 1. Both of those contests will also kickoff at 3:00 pm.

Should they advance and host a semifinal game, the Storm will likely play on Saturday, June 7. The St. Pete Times Forum is hosting a Fleetwood Mac concert on June 8, the only other day semifinal games can be played.

The Storm finish the regular season this Sunday afternoon when they travel to Duluth, GA, to take on the Georgia Force. The Storm have never lost to the Force and beat them 58-39 earlier this season. If the Storm win, they will be the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. Should Tampa Bay lose, it will be seeded either No. 3 or No. 4.

Kickoff for Sunday's game is scheduled for 3:00 pm. The game will be televised live by NBC Sports. It can also be heard in the Tampa Bay area on 620-AM WDAE.
